The Ms. American Mom Pageant utilizes the following areas of competition:
Headshot Photo- Recent color or B&W photo of contestant. Will be given a numerical score of between 1 and 5 points per judge, equaling 5% of a contestant's score.
Personal Interview- Will consist of 5 questions posed by the pageant which contestants will answer in essay form not exceeding 300 words per answer. Each question will be given a numerical score of between 1 and 10 points per judge, equaling 50% of a contestant's score. Questions are as follows:
Activity Photo & Essay- Will consist of a photo of Mom and child/children depicting the 2 engaged in an activity in which they have regular participation. The essay must not exceed 400 words and describe the activity and why paticipation in it brings happiness, fun, excitement, quality time, memories etc for all involved. Judged together photo and essay will be given a numerical score of between 1-20 points per judge, equaling 20% of a contestant's score.
Charity Participation- Will consist of a contestant's level of participation with the Ms. American Mom Pageant's Sponsor Child. The pageant will run 5 drives to collect items for this child. Each contestant will be asked to donate one item to the drive. Each drive will count for 5 points. Participate in the drive and earn the 5 points, participate in all 5 drives and earn 20 points, ot 25% of your score.
